In addition to the rug hooking gripper strips, we also have wooden channel pieces that match our gripper strips. These channel pieces hold the gripper strip at the ideal, slightly curved angle, opening up their teeth and maximizing their grip. They also allow the user to easily install their strips without the use of staples or glue. Further, with the use of the channel, strips can be interchanged for different projects or easily replaced if they were to become damaged.  We are offering these channels, which can be cut down to size and used to make a frame, or attached to a wall and used to hang finished projects, in the same 40” length as our gripper strips.
